1. Our Returns Commitment
At The Cornerstone Books & Gifts, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’ll make it right.

Under EU consumer protection law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items, without giving any reason. This is your statutory “cooling-off period.”

3. How to Request a Return
To start a return:

- We’ll confirm your return request within 2 business days
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging where possible
- Ship it back to the address we provide
Please do not send items back without contacting us first.
4. Condition of Returned Items
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- Unused and in the same condition as received
- In original packaging where possible
- Returned within 14 days of your cancellation notice
Items that show signs of use, damage, or are missing packaging may be subject to a reduced refund.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service for returns. We cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit on their way back to us.

- Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card provider
- Original shipping costs are refunded only if the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, or wrong item)
7. Damaged or Defective Items

8. Exceptions, Items We Cannot Accept Back

- Personalised or custom-made items
9. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you’d like a different item, please return the original for a refund and place a new order.
